The short version: no ads, no tracking, no selling data. What you share with Robin is used to answer you, nothing else.

What we collect

Everything we collect exists to make the app work, and is linked to your account only so your trips follow you between devices:

Email address: to sign you in.
Your trips and chats with Robin: the plans, stops, budgets and conversations you create.
Precise location: only while you use the app, and only when Robin is guiding you or planning your day. Never in the background.
Photos you choose to send: a dish, a menu, a mysterious building. Only the photos you snap for Robin.
Account ID: an internal identifier for your account.

What we don't do

We do not run ads. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising. We do not read your camera roll; nothing leaves your phone except what you explicitly send.

AI processing

Robin is powered by Claude, an AI service by Anthropic. To plan and guide you, Robin shares with Claude: your trip details and chats with Robin; your location, when Robin guides you or plans your day; and photos you snap for Robin. This is used only to answer you, never for ads. The app asks for your consent before any AI feature runs, and AI features stay off until you agree.

Where your data lives

Your trips sync to our servers (hosted on Supabase) so they're safe if you lose your phone and shared with the people you invite to a trip. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS).

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all its data any time, in the app: Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent.

Children

Hey Robin is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
